Stephen Stenberg

Portland, OR

Stephen is a structural engineer with over a decade of experience delivering clear, buildable designs for residential and light commercial projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. He focuses on practical structural solutions that balance efficiency, constructability, and long-term performance.

Clients value Stephen’s straightforward communication, timely responses, and ability to simplify complex structural challenges into clear, permit-ready drawings. He works closely with architects, contractors, and owners to keep projects moving smoothly from concept through construction.

Outside of work, Stephen is a husband and father of three who enjoys running, golfing, and spending time outdoors with his family.

Colby Anderson

Portland, OR

Colby brings over a decade of experience in structural engineering, with a particular focus on creative solutions, constructability, and modern design tools. His experience includes work on industrial development projects, where efficient building layout and coordination with site constraints are critical. He is passionate about using technology to streamline the engineering process and deliver high‑quality structural drawings with clarity and precision.

Colby is known for his personalized and collaborative approach, with hands‑on involvement throughout a project. He enjoys working directly with project teams to find smart, cost‑effective solutions that perform well in the field—not just on paper.

Outside the office, Colby enjoys building things with his hands, running, and adventuring outdoors with his family.

Reed Newcomer

Central Oregon

Reed brings nearly 15 years of structural engineering expertise to the team, with a portfolio that spans nearly every major building sector. He excels at evaluating complex conditions and developing structural frameworks that respect the architectural intent while prioritizing ease of construction.

Beyond technical design, Reed is a skilled coordinator who understands how structural systems must mesh with Architectural, MEP, civil, and fire protection trades. He prides himself on being a collaborative problem-solver who helps owners and design teams find the "sweet spot" between performance and constructability.

Outside of work, Reed fully embraces the Central Oregon lifestyle—whether he’s on his mountain bike, on the river, or hitting the slopes with his family.
